This time round we introduce the example of combination use of the Custom-Sized InsulBox® and a Temperature-Controlled Shipper (TCP).
今回は定温輸送容器との組み合わせでInsulBox®をご活用いただいた例をご紹介いたします。
This is for A customer in Japan who distributes temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products to patients. They normally deliver those products in a validated TCP and the duration is enough. However when they see the alert on a thermo indicator upon arrival at patient’s door side, they need to ship it back to their distribution center and investigate what is the cause of the alert, and they will be able to deliver again only when they found the alert doesn’t affect the quality of the products, however, the duration is NOT enough for the second delivery based on their SOP.
このカスタム製品は温度に敏感な医薬品を患者様へお届けする業務を行っておられるお客様の為にデザインしたものです。通常、検証済みの定温輸送容器(TCP)に積載して輸送を行っており、輸送容器の温度持続時間は充分です。ただし患者様にお渡しする際に温度測定器が警報を出していることが分かると一度物流センターへ返送し、警報の原因を調査して製品への影響が認められないことが判明してからようやく再度配送が可能となりますが、標準作業手順書(SOP)に基づくと温度持続時間が充分ではありません。
Therefore we have suggested a combination use of TCP and the thermal cover to gain additional duration of the TCP. Both InsulCap® & InsulBox® help to minimize the heat/energy transfer between inner area and ambient environment, thus it helps coolants (PCM) inside of TCP to lasts longer. Under the customer’s distribution condition, they successfully confirmed about 1 day longer duration then they started implementation of the solution. This was our great pleasure to assist them to protect what is precious.
そこでご提案したのが、TCPとサーマルカバーを併用して使用しより長い持続時間を得る解決策です。InsulCap®及びInsulBox®は内部と外界との間の熱伝導を極力小さくする効果がある為TCP内部の蓄熱材(PCM)の持続時間を延ばすことが可能です。このお客様の輸送条件下では、お客様の検証テストの結果TCPの持続時間が約１日延びたことが確認できたため採用して頂くこととなりました。大切なものをお守りするお手伝いができたことに、私たちは大きな喜びを得ることができました。
